There have been many exciting features launched for M365 in the last two years, and we\u2019re excited to get you up to speed. Here\u2019s some headlines on the biggest changes.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-contrast=\"none\">Microsoft Loop<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Microsoft Loop is an app that helps teams stay organized and collaborate in new ways. Loop components allow everyone to edit at the same time, no matter which Microsoft 365 app they\u2019re using. You can also create shared workspaces to keep track of projects and ideas. Plus, it connects with other tools to make teamwork even smoother. Try it in Teams! When you\u2019re ready to give it a spin, head to <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/loop.cloud.microsoft\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">loop.cloud.microsoft<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, find it on <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/microsoft365.com\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">microsoft365.com<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, or in your apps within Teams.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-contrast=\"none\">Microsoft Bookings<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Microsoft Bookings is a tool that helps you schedule and manage appointments easily. It integrates with Outlook, so you can see your availability and let others book time with you. This makes it simple for clients or colleagues to find a time that works best for everyone. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/microsoft-365\/bookings\/bookings-overview?view=o365-worldwide\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Bookings also sends email and text reminders to reduce no-shows and keep everyone on the same page<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">At UVic, we offer Personal Bookings and Shared Bookings.\u00a0Personal Bookings lets you manage your own time slots and share your availability with others. You could use this for office hours or consultations, for example.\u00a0Shared Bookings is for teams, allowing multiple staff members to be booked for appointments. Check out the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvic.ca\/systems\/support\/computerssoftware\/microsoft365\/bookings.php\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">UVic Bookings Help Centre page<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> for more information or to get set up.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-contrast=\"none\">NEW Outlook<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Soon to be launching: <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">New <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Outlook! Likely you&#8217;ve already noticed this one installed on your UVic computer. You might be curious what it\u2019s all about.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">New Outlook has a sleek, modern design with a simplified interface, making it easier to use. It offers faster performance and better integration with Microsoft 365. It has improved collaboration features, like quick meeting scheduling, and settable work hours and location. For a handy chart of the new features available, check out this <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office\/feature-comparison-between-new-outlook-and-classic-outlook-de453583-1e76-48bf-975a-2e9cd2ee16dd\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Microsoft support page<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Although it\u2019s technically already available in our environment, we will continue to recommend Classic Outlook for now. We will officially move to New Outlook after our transition away from Role-Based Email accounts is complete. These accounts are not supported in New Outlook.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Those are the big headlines for Microsoft 365 right now.
