Scenario Analysis<\/h1>\n

In order to provide a clear understanding of the long term implications of differing economic trends, disruptive technology shifts, or proposed policy decision, the 2060 Project performs individual scenario analyses. Given the uncertainties in future fuel and renewable energy costs, demand growth and energy policies, a scenario-based analysis allows 2060 researchers to provide a policy makers with a vision of the long term development of the electricity sector under these constraints.<\/p>\n
